About Us
We believe the future of farming lies at the intersection of tradition and innovation. We're redefining autonomy to build the farm of the future.
OUR MISSION
To cultivate a future of efficiency, sustainability, and profitability through data-driven decisions, the power of AI, and dynamic technology solutions for farming's biggest challenges.
OUR VISION
A pathway to the farm of the future, where sustainability and profitability go hand in hand, where humanity is a net positive to nature, and where agriculture is a regenerative, circular economy.
OUR STORY
Empowering the Future of Farming:
Today, FarmX stands as a comprehensive autonomous farming solution. Our integrated services are managed through a single FarmX application accessible anytime, anywhere. We’ve embraced the role of perpetual guardians of your fields, capturing data day and night, season after season, to optimize crop yields, conserve resources, and mitigate threats.

Seamless Automation:
As we delved deeper into the world of agriculture, we realized that data was only part of the equation. Responding effectively to this data required automation, especially in the face of a looming labor crisis. In 2018, we seamlessly integrated an automated valve control system into our software, enabling remote and automated irrigation management.

Merging for Scalable Solutions:
Recognizing the need for even more precise and scalable solutions, we took a significant step in 2019 by merging with WaterBit, pioneers in wireless micro-block water valve technology. This union empowered us to develop a fully autonomous irrigation system adaptable to fields of any size, setting new benchmarks for precision in agriculture.

A Game-Changing Merger:
In 2022, FarmX achieved another milestone by merging with AutoModality, a global leader in end-to-end fully-autonomous software for robots and drones. This strategic partnership empowered us to transform our software insights into swift action, enabling us to address emerging problems before they could wreak havoc on crops.

OUR TEAM
Our visionary team of growers, agronomists, and technologists bring a decade of autonomy experience, over 300 years combined experience in software development, and 75 years combined experience in agriculture and ag-related businesses.

ROBOTICS TECHNOLOGIES
our autonomy stack empowers OEM partners to evolve into solutions providers for growers

Next Generation Soil Moisture Sensing
We've created the most innovative soil moisture probe on the market, the Osmo™.
Using proprietary sensing technology, the Osmo™ thrives in all types of soil, and accurately provides real-time data through our mobile app.
Osmo™ Top Features:
- Volumetric sensing up to 48 cubic feet (200x more than any other sensor)
- Vertical flux (percolation) measurement
- Accurate in all soil types, including clay, sand, and loam
- Greater sensing volume and more accurate than a neutron probe
- Low cost, low power, and modular
- Easy to install and less maintenance

Adaptable Block-level and Micro-block Control
FarmX is the only company to offer sub-block level irrigation control. With integrated pump and VFD control, high reliability, battery-free operation, fault detection, and weatherproofing, our control is the best on the market.
We support three valve types:
- Hydraulic valves with our own pilot valve for large valve switching
- Solenoid valves with support for common 9v and 12v solenoids
- Dual valves enable by drip line control - many per acre, micro-block support
