We deliver precise, practical solutions.

The future of farming lies at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Consider us your trusted advisor to help you make better decisions in your fields.

MISSION

We build technology tools to support profitable, efficient, sustainable farming.

VISION

We envision a pathway to the future, where practical, precise technology informs grower decisions, and where profitability and sustainability go hand in hand.

OUR STORY

FarmX was founded in 2014 to solve irrigation, fertilization, and water management problems plaguing California crops. Through a series of groundbreaking innovations and well-timed mergers, a dream that began with an innovative soil moisture probe has deepened into a growing set of technology tools.

Today, FarmX aims to be a trusted advisor to growers adopting technology. Our goal is to provide tools to optimize crop yields, conserve resources, and mitigate threats.

In 2022, FarmX merged with AutoModality, a leader in fully-autonomous software for robots and drones. Focused on the limitations in autonomous farming technology, our robotics team is pioneering GPS-denied autonomous navigation for ground vehicles and drones.

No longer relying on GPS or other connectivity, the future of farming means precise autonomous navigation where other systems fail - under tree canopies, in mountainous terrain, near infrastructure, and more.

OUR TEAM

Leadership:

Robotics:

With decades of robotics experience, PhD engineers, and expertise from MIT, Harvard, and CMU, our team is revolutionizing the way mobile robotic systems sense and navigate.

We're solving the most difficult navigation, mission planning, and data collection problems using advanced perception and on-board AI to put robotic vehicles in the most dynamic, complicated environments.
